Areola astonished by new Hammer’s form

|

Alphonse Areola has been sensational so far this season but he has his own hero among the West Ham squad.

The Hammers new look team has seen James Ward-Prowse catch everybody’s eye, no more so than the goalkeeper who has clearly been caught up in the midfielder’s wow factor.

Both players performed brilliantly against Manchester City but it’s likely they will be missing for the Euro League game against TSC on Thursday as Moyes rotates the squad to accommodate players who as yet haven’t had a chance of much match action this season.

Areola makes it clear in quotes reported by Mirror Football per West Ham Zone his view of a player who has shown why he was the manager’s Number One priority in the summer transfer window.

The keeper drew attention to stats which were again improved when he scored against City bringing them to two goals and three assists from just four Premier League appearances.

Areola declared: “You just have to look at his games, his stats. He’s helping us a lot, offensively, defensively, set-pieces. He’s just incredible for us so we have to keep that positivity and go again.”
