Arnautovic doesn’t regret move to West Ham

Premier-League-Southampton-vs-West-Ham-UnitedArnautovic’s season with West Ham has got off to a nightmare start after the club record transfer signing was red-carded on his second appearance for elbowing Southampton’s Jack Stephens.  The initial transfer fee was £22.3m which could rise to £25m with add-ons. He earns a basic wage of £65,000 per week plus bonuses on a five-year contract.

Currently on International duty with Austria Arnautovic says of his move to the London Stadium: “I do not regret the change, quite the opposite. I’m really looking forward to the new task, the team has a lot of potential.”

I know how to deal with the pressure. The red card was unfortunate, but I am clear with the situation. He was a bit too far down with the body, and when he is upright I can not catch him where I’ve caught him.”

  1. I’m not surprised he doesn’t regret it – how much has he pocketed for a game and a half?

  2. He was just getting an early start in so he could catch up with Sakho & Poppodom in the race for the end of season
How Much Did I Earn For Doing Nothing This Season award.
Some players have taken a novel approach though & are trying to win it while still playing every match 😁

  3. Will be a very good player for us. Has hopefully learnt not to be such a spazz on the pitch.
