Arnautovic speculation hot up

|

The possibility of the Hammers signing former ‘bad boy’ Marko Arnautovic appears to be hotting up.

Whether half the fan base actually want him back is something else but the rumour seems to again be getting legs.

David Moyes made it clear when asked at a resent press conference whether he was interested and responded by not giving a definite ‘no’ declaring hat he had enjoyed the challenge of managing the striker.

He added that whilst he wanted to build a new West Ham with a youthful edge it was a question that almost remained to be seen.

Our own inquiries have always left the impression that the possibility was always around inside the club.

And itk ExWHU employee claims he has now heard that it could happen as he’d heard the player s willing to take a significant pay cut.

According to the Mirror the 32 year old is on a £200k a week contract so significant is indeed the right word.

He’s a Marmite character among fans so watch this space.

From what I have heard and understand is that the management and players all want him back sand from a footballing perspective it makes every sense to bring him back, he is top notch and will bring more to the team that the likes of Abraham. Like so many fans I will be delighted to see him back assuming he performs to the same level. Top guy contrary to the opinion of some and totally respected by his piers.

Hopefully a BS story. Under no circumstances should we take him back. Too old, prima Donna, would disrupt our fabulous dressing room spirit in a heartbeat. It would be madness and I can’t see it. As for his snake of a brother, no way.

Apart from the wages ,it’s a cheap option, that’s why it’s coming up and could be true…not been reading alot lately as one min we say we have a bit of money then we havnt ..then the figures come out about how bad things are…pretty much sick of it all ..especially after the last few games as well ..very few comments so I think I’m not only one …let’s hope we can pick up 3 points against a relegated side tonight and stay in hunt for top 8 finish..even that seems sad after all the champions league dreams…IMO

No under any circumstances, Arnautovic only cares about himself and that ship has sailed

I’ll accept him back for two seasons and only if he plays for FREE!!!

There’s no truth in the story, I’m sure of it.B

Hope it’s untrue. We are supposed to be moving forward and re signing a selfish player who has spent a while playing toytown football in China whilst accumulating a good pension pot for himself and agent brother is not progress.
Yes he had an impact for us,but I cannot see him recreating that now and the majority of supporters would be against it.
We need to invest in players with potential, not potential nightmares.
