Amongst the suitors for Mohammed Kudus are Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Guardiola’s Manchester City and of course, Liverpool.  Each have their own reasons: Arsenal have a long wait for Saka’s recovery, Manchester City’s slide down the league needs rapid action to arrest and Liverpool are keen to strengthen the grip they already have with one hand on the Premier League title.

Kudus, you remember, was reported as demanding his agents orchestrate a move to Liverpool earlier in the Autumn. Arne Slot appears to be doing everything he can to hasten Kudus’ move to Anfield with some very flattering words in what is a very thinly veiled ‘come hither’ cry to the Ghanaian.

Reported courtesy of rousingthekop.com, Liverpool’s manager was falling over himself to heap praise on the West Ham forward:“I think he’s a good player, that’s for sure and everyone sees this,” said Slot in his pre-match press conference.

“He can play in multiple positions and I think he played here for Ajax against Liverpool as a number nine as well. He’s a big threat for them.”

So just in case Kudus wasn’t clear, Slot is a big admirer and I’m sure would love to see Kudus competing in The Reds’ squad for a starting place alongside the likes of Mohammed Salah, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nuñez Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa and Cody Gakpo.

Darwin Nunez – part exchange, anybody?

But do Liverpool have the £100 million to will take to get Sullivan’s signature on a sale contract? Maybe: At least West Ham could make it easy for them and  try and negotiate a part exchange deal with Nuñez coming the other way in part-payment.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970.. 'Football is Life' oh yes. Let it raise your spirit but never darken your mood. Life's too short not to enjoy the journey with our Claret and Blue heroes n' villains.

Nuñez is rubbish. What does he score, two maybe three goals a year?

yeah, he’s rubbish… that’s why Liverpool keep him 🤪 limited playing time and assist stats are good enough. to being him in. you think him playing alongside Bowen, Kudus, Summerville, Pacqueta isn’t going to help him or us? yeah, rubbush 🤪

  • West Ham Voice says:

Why would Nuñez be remotely interested in swapping places with kudus?

He didn’t choose us when he had the chance a few years back. He certainly won’t be choosing us now

You reckon Nunez would be interested in joining West Ham? In your dreams! He’s currently in a team who are favourites to win the Premier League and have European competition – regularly. And Liverpool have a good manager. What have we got to offer? And don’t bother saying regular game time because Lopetegui would probably play him on the right wing or wing back or somewhere else that doesn’t suit him.

Of course, you were only joking, Martin.

No way Nunez will sign up to the Hammers as talks were for Maguire and Rashford. Absolute rubbish
