Arnie goal tops great 45 minutes

Half Time: Hammers 1 Chelsea 0

What a 45 minutes!
arnau2Everything we ask of West Ham was there on display – discipline, determination and a deadly finish to carry on where we left off at City.

Mark Arnautovic grabbed the goal at the end of a brilliant passing movement in the most congested area of the pitch after 5 minutes and after that the boys chased everything battling like a team ready to make a mockery of their League position.

Adrian was called on for a couple of good stops but the team was always resolute and organised at the back and with Masuaku providing some real skill on the left, and Antonio chasing lost causes up front, the team look a million miles away from the one David Moyes took over a few weeks ago.

Chelsea pushed forward and created their chances as we would have expected but so far so good – COYI

  1. We have just won..
    What a magnificent team performance!
Moyes has got the boys fitter, motivated, and a newfound sense of belief.
If the first half was exciting, then the way the guys played for each other in the second half, was equally impressive.
Cresswell, Reid, Ogbonna, Zabateta, Antonio, and Arnie were all great, but my MOTM was Masuaku.
    COYI!!
