Arnie injury update

Marko Arnautovic took a knock on his knee which saw him leave the action in the second half but the immediate report on his condition was relatively encouraging.

Captain for the day at least Arnie left the Emirates unaided by any braces of crutches and although it’s far too early to make a firm prediction could be okay for next weekend.

We were told by a club insider after the game that Marko is not a player who will take any chances with his well being but that he looked comfortable as he left the Emirates.

He is unlikely to be having a scan and the club medics are bound to leave it in his hands as to whther he plays against Wolves or not should it be a 50/50 decision.

Our source said: “At this point it looks reasonably ok but will be carefully monitored over the next few days …obviously.”

  1. From watching yesterday he should be getting Pellegrini in his ear the shot before we went one nil up into the side netting he should have squared it likewise Antonio later in the match, we really put it on them but the next step is being unselfish and making the right passes the game should have been put to bed in the first half, had we been 3 or 4 up we could have scored more.
