Arnie looks to be on his bike but not to Irons

|

Any lingering hopes some may have had of seeing Marko Arnautovic return to the London Stadium appear to have been finally dashed.

A whole host of names have been linked to a Seb Haller replacement of course but Arnautovic ca no longer be counted among them according to new reports linking him to an Italian job.

And David Moyes’ regular admissions that he is unlikely to be bringing in a permanent replacement always looked doubtful given his age and wages.

Among possible arrivals was the 31- year-old with Sky Sports suggested the club had been offered the chance to re-sign the Austria international.

However, it now seems the Austrian international is set for a possible move to Italy where he has been reported by Corriere Dello Sport as the number one target for Bologna.

Old East End saying (OK but it should have been!) when snake has been cleared out of nest, do not invite him (or his snake oil selling brother) back in the door ever.
