Arnie, Nasri and Cresswell fitness updates

Marko Arnautovic is back in full training and will be available for selection for Saturday’s game at Crystal Palace.

There had been rumours that the striker was still not 100 per cent ready following the foot injury he suffered at Wolves but an insider source confirmed to CandH this afternoon that he is training and fit.

He told us on the ‘phone: “Marko is training well and all things being equal – depending on manager decisions – he can play.”

However, there remain problems with Samir Nasri who was expected to be back but who is still struggling with a calf strain and despite earlier hopes is likely to miss the game at Selhurst Park this weekend.

Nasri could turn out to be one of the football transfer bargains if he can get back fit and stay fit.

Aaron Cresswell is suffering from a dead leg after his exertions against Liverpool and has been training away from the squad.

Our source said: “We expect him to be okay – it’s not a major thing so fingers crossed.”
