Arnie playing through pain barrier

Top man Marko Arnautovic has admitted that he is playing through the pain barrier for the Irons.

The striker has been suffering a knee injury from which he explained he hasn’t fully recovered.

He said: “The medical staff are talking to me and if they ask me if I’m ready to play, obviously I decide if I can be involved or not.

“It will continue to hurt for a while. I have a bone bruise on my knee and you can’t do anything about this, you need to wait until it’s going away.

“The medical staff working with me are confident so it’s all about being confident in your body and trusting your body.”

Manuel Pellegrini and the backroom staff plus all fans will be hoping Arnautovic can continue to play through the pain and that he will be okay to do the business against Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday.

  1. Ogbonna played through problems last season and Noble played through hernia issues. Arnie continues the tradition!

  2. I wouldn’t want to loose Arnie from the team but also wouldn’t want to see him play and be out for longer . He will know if he’s ok To play but don’t take chances. I love Arnie what a player he knows he’s adored he loves it back it’s a special connection to the fans . Let’s be honest the whole team is playing well and deserve credit , nice to see the spirit of the players ,I’m loving it . Stick to the bosses plan , stick together and keep working hard and I believe we can have a great season . Nice to see the positivity return for everyone the owners, club , manager and players . Now let’s go to Brighton and fight for the 3 points we can do it ! COYI ⚒
