Ogbonna:9 Unexpected start with Zouma sustaining a knee injury in training. Wonderful challenge on 38 mins stopped a dangerous Arsenal attack. Another great block just before half time. Remarkable.
Emerson:9 His early cross caused mayhem in the Arsenal defence. His cross early in the second half earned the corner from which the Hammers scored their second. Created again as Declan Rice tripped him for a penalty.
Alvarez:8 Silly pass before half time was almost costly, otherwise impeccable. So committed to the cause and shields his defender brilliantly.
Soucek:8 Scored the opening goal of the game with a tap-in. Otherwise turned himself into a human shield.

Ward Prowse:9 Never stopped working and got another assist from an in-swinging corner. Selfless performance which led by example.
Kudus:8 His strength was on full display and allowed him teammates a real breather. Put in a real team performance and always on hand to help out Coufal.
Paqueta:6 Injured in the warm-up and had a shaky start as a result but played his part in the build-up to the goal. Lasted 30 mins.
Bowen:8 Kept the ball in play well for West Ham’s opener and never stopped working despite being outgunned.
Benrahma:5 30 min sub for Paqueta and gave the ball away immediately in front of West Ham’s defence. Gave the ball away frequently. Improved slightly in the second half and fashioned a shot for himself. Missed a penalty.
