Arsenal fan Mo Farah visited the former Olympic Stadium on Thursday to re-familiarise himself with the stadium but surprised by the West Ham colours and logos in the stadium.
“When I walked in yesterday all I saw was West Ham and I was like ‘pretend you didn’t see that’,” Farah said on Friday.
“I guess I just have to not think outside the box and run on the track. But it is officially West Ham’s stadium mate!”
On his impending trip to Rio and the Olympics Farah added “When I’ve finished my events, I’d love to be able to watch football or go into the history of Brazil, Go to where Kaka, Cafu, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho … grew up, see how they started.”
“I could talk about football all day long. I’d definitely love to be able to go into Brazil and see the culture and the football.”
He is so lucky to run in the Ann Summers Stadium,
