Arsenal inflate fee

  1. In order to dissuade their Premier League rivals, it now appears that Arsenal are going to to inflate the price of Folarin Balogun according to the Daily Mail.

Their website confirmed that West Ham, Chelsea and Tottenham have all made enquiries, but the £50million transfer fee is now going to be raised to deter the interested parties.

David Moyes has been a long term admirer of the USA striker, but only last week the board informed our Supremo that a bid for Balogun for £50m would not be approved, and this is before Arsenal jacked his price up again.

It is more than probable that Balogun will end up moving abroad

Not necessarily a bad thing

We have now turned our attention away from him and seem to be very close to signing Mohammed Kudus and we are still in the hunt for the Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri.

It also appears that Moyes and Steidten have now kissed and made up as we now appear to be very proactive in the market place.

I am like minded to the others who have posted, he is a prospect but Ligue1 and PL are worlds apart and am not convinced he would be able to walk straight into the first team. Would much prefer En Nesri, I sometimes think these pl top clubs don’t want to sell their players to up and coming teams because it could damage their position in the pecking order so they inflate the fee to avoid embarassment down the line, from what I have read Monaco seems the most likely destination for him.

Not for me too many of his goals last season were from the pen spot. Need a better forward for that price.
