Arsenal missing key players for Hammers clash

|

Arsenal will be without four players for the match against the Hammers this weekend.

Midfielder Lucas Torreira  was stretchered off and replaced by Dani Ceballos during the early stages of Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Portsmouth in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday night and looks certain to be ruled out of the match at the Emirates.

He will join Calum Chambers as one of Arsenal’s long-term absentees with the centre-back  facing up to nine months out with an ACL injury that he sustained back in December.

Elsewhere, Sead Kolasinac will miss the rest of the month with a shoulder injury  he picked up against Everton while Cedric Soares won’t return to full training next week after a knee injury.

However, Kieran Tierney could be back in the squad after resuming full training after recovering from a shoulder injury.

With the Hammers becoming bear injury free and new signing Jarrod Bowen on a high after  a fine debut the Irons will be looking to him, Mickey Antonio and Seb Haller to provide some real goal power.
