Arsenal to land West Ham striker target

henryWest Ham striker target Henry Onyekuru is closing in on a move to  Arsenal after the Gunners agreed a £6.8m fee for his transfer with Belgium side KAS Eupen claims a report on owngoalnigeria.com

A fellow Nigerian football site called ScoreNigeria, says the 19 year old who scored 24 goals forBelgium side Eupen will earn a salary of £38,000 a week at the Emirates.

They say that the North London side have fixed a date for his medical, which will take place after his involvement with the senior national team of Nigeria ends with the game against South Africa on the 10th of June.

Some other issues left to be trashed out on the deal includes several add ons due to Eupen, compensation to Aspire Academy and also bonuses the forward will earn season in, season out throughout the length of what will most likely be a five-year deal.

Just two weeks ago the same Nigerian website claimed West Ham had won the race to sign the in demand Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru after agreeing a transfer fee in the region of over £7m.

At the time Owngoalnigeria.com said the fee has been agreed between West Ham United and Eupen for his transfer, and personal terms are currently been thrashed out. A club insider later told us: “We are not sure the player can make the jump to the Premier League.”
