Arthur back from injury but could yet remain a Hammer

By Hughie Southon

Arthur Masuaku returned for Beskitas in the Turkish outfit’s last game defying  reports he would be back at West Ham last month.

The left sided player will remain on loan with the club until the end of the season having suffered another injury blow which has kept him on the side lines for two or three months.

He suffered an ankle fracture back in November and there were various media reports suggesting that he could return to West Ham in January under the terms made between the two clubs.

But we were always told by the Hammers no such agreement had been made when the loan was agreed  and that no decision would be made until the end of the season on whether the move would be made permanent.

Should the Turkish club decide not to agree a deal then Arthur could return to the Hammers where he has a contract until June of next year.

  1. Don’t think Arthur has anything to offer us, especially now.
