Astra coach: “We’re no favourites”

MariusFC Astra coach Marius Sumudica is refusing to accept it’s a formality for the Romanian outfit to progress at our cost in the Europa Cup tournament.

Two away goals is a formidable comfort cushion but the Astra boss is talking down his team’s chances as favourites to complete the job.

Following the game he declared: “ We are definitely not favourites. We have played one game so far and the pressure is actually on us because everyone thinks we are the favourites.”

  1. On a personal level I still think we should have the attitude of ‘we’re coming at ya’ go there & show them what West Hqm are really about.. all this bollox of ‘never wanted to be in EL anyway’, ‘want out of this tournament’, ‘not bothered if we go out’……… blah blah blah
keep reading we are moving onto the nxt level…. surely the need to play in europe is one of the steps we need to be taking…
there was some on whtid last night who have already given up for the Arsenal game ffs what is it with some people? New season, new manager, new players, same old crap ‘we wont get anything at arsenal, it’s only 3 points lost’
