Authorities announce “disturbances ” probe

The FA have confirmed they have launched a probe into the crowd disturbances at the stadium last night (Wed)

But they will assess evidence and speak to both clubs before deciding to bring any charges.

An EFL spokesman added: “We are currently liaising with both clubs, the Football Association and Metropolitan Police as they look to identify those involved and take appropriate and decisive action.

Manager Slaven Bilic said afterwards: “”Whatever happened we are totally against it, as a club. For those kind of things to happen especially in England is unacceptable

“I can say only that I noticed it. I was more concentrated on telling Aaron Cresswell not to watch it and to watch the game.”

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte added: “I don’t like this type of situation. It is important always to see the right atmosphere, above all in England, and it is right to maintain this habit because this country is fantastic with this aspect. I am sorry about this situation.”
