Ayew sweats it out

andreayew726Slaven Bilic has been told by Andre Ayew that his thigh injury “is not a big one.”
Speaking after the player had left the action after just half an hour the manager  said: “Ayew has a thigh injury. He told me it is not a big one, but you never know and he will have a scan on Tuesday and we have to wait for the result of the scan to know how long he will be out.”
He added: “Feghouli picked up something against Juventus which we didn’t think was an injury and he trained for a week, but he missed tonight because he is injured.”The manager and squad travel to Romania on Wednesday for a UEFA Europa League play-off round first-leg tie with Astra Giurgiu on Thursday evening.

  1. Leave him behind because we need him for our next league game,
Leave Valencia and Noble behind to learn there trade again or ship them out
Put Antonio back on the right wing before we destroy his confidence,
Put Burke,Oxford and Samulsun on the pitch they are ready and will try a lot harder the some we have here now,

  2. I really, really hope that the scan shows there is nothing to worry about.
Feghouli and Payet must start v Astra if they are both fit enough. We were on the back foot and toothless last night.

  3. What’s with the doom and gloom? Chelsea were the better team and we couldn’t get in to the match end of. Don’t forget before he came on to the pitch we’re missing Payet along with Lanzini and Cresswell.

The new lads need some time and hopefully that result will give them the welcome to the premiership kick up the butt.
