Bacca’s agent looking at Napoli

BaccaCarlos Bacca’s agent appears focused on a deal with Napoli for the striker and hasn’t mentioned the Irons in his latest comments on the his future.

Despite the Hammers having had a £26 million offer accepted by AC Milan, Bacca has consistenty played down our hopes of signing him.

Napoli have sold Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus for £75 million and are now in the market for a striker with Bacca’s team apparently watching developments closely.

Agent Sergio Barila made no mention of the Hammers when telling Radio Goal: “The deal with Napoli is one on hich we are awaiting developments. I cannot say more.”

A Hammers source continues to tell ClaretandHugh that the deal is now very unlikely saying: “In reality we believe we’ve been used as back up.”

  1. This deal was dead weeks ago.Time to forget about him & get on with signing our other targets now.

  2. I never wanted him here but was largely indeifferent about him; if it happened now I would be absolutely gutted after the way he’s f***ed us around.

  3. Can’t help but think that we’re missing a trick here?!? Antonio scored 8 goals last season from the wing/wing back position – surely all his attributes – quick, strong, good in the air, great engine, eye for goal – wouldn’t he be best converting to a forward?? Just a thought…

  4. It’s actually embarrassing that we are still entertaining him and his agent, we should have took away the offer and told him to go on his merry way weeks ago, I just don’t understand why our owners feel the need to keep letting everyone know what our intended business is, other teams just announce signings without all the b/s…..with all these offers for strikers have been put out there that have all been turned down we are looking like fools…we might even end up with Ben Yedder who has played Internationally for France ……..at 5 a side…….Where’s Carlton when you need him…………
