Bad boy Paqueta triggers Arsenal fans

|

Gunners fans are not happy with what they have seen in the new footage from last Sunday’s game against West Ham United at the London Stadium. Bad boy Paqueta triggered Arsenal fans online by trying to use some of footballs darker arts to gain an advantage for his team.

Arsenal had a 2-0 lead in the first 11 minutes of a frantic game, but David Moyes team responded well, enabling the Hammers to equalise and and clinch a much needed Premier League point.

The pivotal moment in the turnaround however, was Bukayo Saka’s missed penalty in the second half, which could have won the game for Arsenal. Michail Antonio had been penalised for hand ball and a penalty was awarded to Mikel Arteta’s men.

Arsenal fans are unhappy with bad boy Paqueta

In a behind-the-scenes video posted on West Ham United’s official YouTube channel, Lucas Paqueta can be seen shouting Saka’s name at him during his  spot-kick run-up. Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey can also be seen in the clip screaming at Paqueta in an attempt to stop the Brazilian distracting his team-mate.

Whilst the incident appears to have riled some Arsenal fans online I think it’s probably much ado about nothing over a distracting tactic which is commonplace.

They need to watch what the Aston Villa goalie gets up to with penalties to have a real complaint!

Big deal……I wouldn’t give them the traction personally…
Maybe it is becoming fashionable to get all SPURSY over something which has been going on since football began being played.
Suck it up is my message to them all.

Perhaps they also think Fabianski should have stood aside and let him just roll the ball into the net.
