Baggies leap frog Hammers

Slaven Bilic’s West Brom have leapfrogged the Hammers tonight into 15th place in the Premier League table after an entertaining 3-3 draw with Chelsea.

Slav’s men were 3-0 up after 27 minutes but Chelsea snatched a leveller in the 93rd minute to earn a point.

Former Hammer Grady Diangana was a starter again playing 74 minutes before being subbed out to be replaced with winger Matt Phillips.

The Baggies looked like the old West Ham team under Slav, great going forward and entertaining but weak in defence.

Despite jumping out the relegation zone, West Brom has the largest goal difference of minus six in the Premier League already conceding 11 goals in their first three games.

The Baggies might not stay there for long with Southampton one-nil up against Burnley at half time.  If the Saints win tonight it will push West Brom down to 16th and West Ham down to the relegation zone in 18th place only above Sheffield United and Fulham.
