Baggies set to break transfer record for Sakho

sakhoWest Bromwich Albion are desperate to land Diafra Sakho and are ready to offer a record transfer bid to make it happen according to the well respected Birmingham Mail.

The Baggies broke their transfer record last summer when they landed Venezuelan forward Salomon Rondon for £12m eclipsing the £10 million spent on Nigerian striker Brown Ideye in July 2014.

Rumour raterBut they know will need to go even higher to land Sakho and will need to get as close to the £15m valuation as possible to land their target man.

The Midlands paper claims talks are ongoing between Albion and representatives of Sakho, who refused to travel with the Hammers squad on their training camp in Austria and missed the US tour because of a mystery illness.
