Barry Fry makes Lingard claim

Barry Fry believes the Hammers will pay whatever it takes to get Jesse Lingard!

The loanee has been brilliant since arriving from Manchester United.

His latest performance saw him score a brace against Leicester, as the Irons won a topsy-turvy game 3-2. In total, he has scored eight goals and laid on four assists in nine games since his Premier League debut.

His form has helped propel the Irons to fourth place in the Premier League, within a point of the third-placed Foxes.

Fry knows David Gold and David Sullivan well and he has told Football FanCast that the club are likely to back David Moyes when it comes to bringing in his number one target this summer.

Lingard has been in unbelievable form, though Fry does believe that there may have to be a couple of sacrifices, with some fringe players let go as they look to raise funds for the England international.

He said that he believed the pair would pay whatever then had to but that David Moyes may have to get rid of a couple of players.

  1. All of a sudden Barry Fry has become relevant again…… he must have been missing the limelight as he’s making up for it now.

  2. Always reliable for repeating the obvious. Barry will be telling us he always thought Rachael Blackmore was capable of winning a Grand National next. Who would have guessed at that?
