We ran with a story just last week about Mohammed Kudus’ desire to leave West Ham United: you’ll remember he asked his agent – his brother – to approach Liverpool to tray and arrange a move to Anfield. News today from another source of further evidence linking Kudus with a move away in January: It is public knowledge that he has an £85 million release clause in his contract which comes live again in the summer – but it is believed that a serious bid is about to come in well before the summer- in the forthcoming January window.

On the front of todays’ BBC.com  ‘Football Gossip’ page is the subheading:Arsenal are ready to spend £83m (100m euros) on West Ham attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus with the 24-year-old Ghana international keen to join the Gunners to play European football.

You’ll recall last week’s article I wrote stated that ‘Arsenal are lining up 24-year-old West Ham United and Ghana winger Mohammed Kudus as a £90m replacement for 29-year-old Belgium forward Leandro Trossard’. Well, according to the BBC who were quoting Spanish site fichajes.net as their source ,there is a claim that the price has gone down to £83 million. They obviously don’t know David Sullivan’s reputation for running hardball negotiations.

Probably the price just went up £20 million, not down from £90 to £83 million. These stories all need taking with a certain pinch of salt but there clearly is no smoke without fire and Kudus’ frustrations at West Ham both with the playing style, his position and the fall-out with Lopetegui could all be contributing to the fuelling of these want-away stories. Whether the player’s agent is orchestrating these stories to try and start a bidding war with the aforementioned Liverpool – who knows. We will find out in about seven weeks time!

The coach of westham lacks ideas and it’s difficult playing under such coaches. I s wonder why management would still sit in wait as the Coach keeps bringing the team spirit down. They want issue to get out of hands completely before they take matters serious. This is why players like Kudus will be affected mentally. And when things get to that level, it is obvious it affects the team’s spirit. I strongly suggest West Ham united should rather go in for a manager this time not a coach

As an Arsenal fan, I’d be shocked if there is any truth in us being interested in Kudus. He’s an excellent player, but Arteta doesn’t like signing African players, that have to go off to the AFCON every two years. Since Arteta arrived, the only African player we’ve signed is Partey, and that was right at the start of his managerial career. I also don’t see us paying £83+ million for any player right now. We had to sell to buy in the summer because of PSR.

You can’t blame him or any other player wanting to leave to be fair.
Why would you want to stick around under this inept excuse of a manager who doesn’t seem to know his a-hole from his elbow.
I can see the logic in not sacking him just yet though considering the next 2 games are Newcastle and Arsenal so after we’ve been thumped in both of them games get a new man in for the Leicester game.
Personally though regardless of the next 2 fixtures coming up (we always lose them anyway) now is the perfect time to get a new Manager in but of course Sullivan won’t as he will have to pay Lopetegui up,so we will be stuck with him all season.
The cost of relegation is far greater than paying up a dud Manager,oh well Sullivan will be facing up to that soon enough then….****

If we’re being honest with ourselves Kudus always was going to leave in the summer. Unfortunately for us he looks totally disillusioned under JLo like the rest of us. If he wanted to bail in January I don’t blame him.

With Bowen untouchable and playing in the position Kudus craves and with the 🇧🇷 kid as back up for RW, maybe we can buy a CM and striker rather than wait until the summer.

£85m easily secures two key positions we need. I’m just hoping JLo is gone way before January. That way a new manager gets to know the squad and stop us playing slow sideways possession football.

It would also be a selling point for the new manager knowing he can genuinely push up the league!

It’s not going to be hard to improve upon the dire possession for possession sake style and our xG will surpass the 0.1 we currently watch at the moment 🤦‍♂️

Just another typical West Ham news day, our inept manager will limp on despite showing no signs he’ll improve the team or results, and for the second season in a row we’ll sell our best player to Arsenal.
Sometimes I really wish my east end dad hadn’t inflicted being a West Ham fan on me, we’re cursed

If he is sold I am done with this club until new owners take over.

    That is all.

Have the Gunners taken a liking to Kudus because of the way he took on nearly half the Spurs team in a face shoving contest and won? I can see how he would be an instant hero with the fans there because of that! 👏
