BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson predicts a 1-1 draw this Saturday at the Emirates when Arsenal face West Ham in the London Derby.
Lawro told BBC website readers “It was imperative West Ham beat Southampton last week, and they did. That has given them something to build on. I fancy the Hammers to get something this time too.
I know Hammers boss David Moyes has never won a league game at Arsenal in 15 attempts, but I am taking him out of the equation.
Their tails will be up, there will be a decent atmosphere because it is a London derby, and, if they go for it a bit, this might just be their time now where they can pick up some positive results.
Don’t get me wrong, West Ham still have issues – but I am still not convinced by the Gunners, either.
The Gunners have won their past two Premier League games, but I do not see them going on a long winning run.”
Claret and Hugh say:
The Hammers will be full of confidence after the 3-1 win over Southampton with David Moyes likely to name an unchanged team if everyone is fit and free from injury at the weekend. He will hopefully keep the same 4-4-2 formation that was so effective against the Saints at the London Stadium last Saturday. West Ham will be hoping for more than a draw and there could be a real possibility that the Hammers will take all three points to give their Premier League survival a real chance. I will predict a one-nil win at the Emirates which bookmakers give odds of 20/1 for the correct score.
Arsenal are always likely to score and with our suspect defense I reckon they could put a couple past us . So in effect we may need to score twice to draw and three times to win .
If we play with the same commitment and attitude we showed against Southampton then we could get a valuable point or maybe all three .

Hope you are right Sean !! Will take 1 0 all day long.
