Benitez Real Madrid odds slashed

|

benitezWest Ham primary managerial target Rafa Benitez has today been slashed to 4/1 from 16/1 yesterday to become the next Real Madrid manager.

Zinedine Zidane remains favourite to take over at Real Madrid  at 7/4 but he is now closely followed by Benitez. Another manager previously linked with West Ham, Jurden Klopp is third favourite at 6/1.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague says Real Madrid have sounded out both Jurgen Klopp and Rafa Benitez to see if they would be interested in taking over from Carlo Ancelotti. Guillem said “Real have spoken to Julen Lopetegui at Porto, to Jurgen Klopp, to Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho. They have already spoken to those four to see if they would be interested in coaching Real Madrid .They have spoken to Jose Mourinho – he said no to them, of course. Out of those four, Rafa is favoured by some but not others”

Real and Barcarole don’t play sticky seconds,
Rafa is ex Valencia that’s a no no,
Very really do the top 2 go for ex players or managers from each other and normally they do not touch coaches fron other Spanish clubs,
Emery ( Sevilla,s manager ) still looks like a good fit for us we should go after him all guns blazing
,make him feel wanted,it would be a big step up for him he is young enough and his side play the sort of football our club needs

Rafa was on Real’s books when he started out, never played 1st team though..

Zidane will land Madrids vacancy.Bookies can only do the odds based on the money laid on Benitez.People put two & two together.Spanish manager becomes available with high level experience,Real managerial vacancy comes up.People lump their dough on it.Zidane for me all day long.

Oldiron I am surprised he is not on the list as next leader of the liberal party,
They are full of broken promises and also rans,
And they drop down the ranks the nearer you get to the end,
But he is probably to much of an over achiever for them,
Maybe Mrs B can get him a job with the Tories then he can pretend he is a Winner and the kick the crap out of the us The working class again,
That was a party political broadcast for the non S T expat party

Real are going to give the job to the fans choice Zidane,
There vie s count in Madrid unlike ours in London,
It’s up to our board to show Rafa how much we want him, these people have big egos as we know so well, which means you woo them not male it feel that they are doing the 2 saves a favour this is not the bloody apprentice this people’s life’s and souls unlike some who only treat it as a job,
Tell BFS it’s over, decide who you want and go and get them,we have not got 10 weeks of silly games and end up with the left overs no one wants,
We are not second class as fans who invest our money we want to de heard

I had a cheeky little bet on De Boer as well.I have this feeling he will be fourth or fifth choice but might be the one who comes. Why shouldnt he want to if given the chance, especially when he has seen what Koeman has achieved.

Exactly how I read it and he must fancy proving himself in a bigger league

  • Quickdraw says:

Based on what I’ve hoped for and earlier comments I’ve just put a few quid on de Boer at 66-1. I’m keeping the faith and if I lose as long as it’s not BFS I don’t mind. Five days 23 and a half hours of hurt to go

ahaha … Quick, things I read day in, day out… …makes it very, very hard to have faith… but I’m still a believer… lol
