Benitez is set to leave Napoli in June

Rafa BenitezRafael Benitez is set to leave Napoli at the end of the season even if he is offered a new contract by the Italian club claim sources close to the 54 year old in Italy.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed this week that Benitez can remain at the San Paolo “for the next five years” if he wants to. However, sources close to Benitez say he will quit Napoli when his contract expires in June, putting clubs in the Premier League including West Ham on alert over his availability over the summer.

The former Liverpool and Chelsea manager Benitez joined Napoli in the summer of 2013 and led them to the Coppa Italia and third place in Serie A in his first season in charge. This season Napoli  has failed to mount a serious bid for the title, but Benitez has guided the club to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

  1. get in there quick before the reds tempt him back 😀

  2. Would love him to come to us but not a hope in hell.

He will only go to a team that are in the champions league or be real contenders for a champions league spot.

Would not be shocked to see him end up at Man City or back at Liverpool.

  3. The way Rodgers is performing and he is sounding like BFS every time I hear him I would put my money on him going back to his Family and Liverpool,
But I would know nothing ( part time fan )
