Rafa Benitez is wary of the talent of West Ham after their summer of investment.
The Hammers brought in nine players in the summer, including the likes of Jack Wilshere, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko.
And Benitez is concerned about the amount of talent in the Hammers’ ranks as Newcastle prepare to welcome Manuel Pellegrini’s men to St James’ Park.
He told reporters, per The Mag: “West Ham spent £100m or whatever and have the players who can make the difference.
“We have to show the same intensity we have shown recently.
“They (West Ham) did well in some games and not so well in others.
“They have some very good players who can make the difference on their own – you don’t see them for 80 minutes and in one minute they change the game.
“We have to be sure that everyone is aware of that.”
