Saïd Benrahma stated for Algeria as they swept aside Botswana 5-0 to complete in a an unbeaten qualifying campaign for the 2021 CAF Africa Cup of Nations on Monday evening.
He earned his seventh cap as former Hammer Sofiane Feghouli figured among the scorers as Algeria made it four wins and two draws from their six ties.
Algeria had already secured their place at the final tournament in Cameroon in January/February 2022 with two games to spare, and had drawn 3-3 in Zambia last Thursday – a game the Irons star missed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
