Benrahma move to Lyon not looking so good
Said Benrahma’s move to Lyon is not looking so good right now.
The Ligue One club are reported to have bid £15 million for the No 22 having been impressed with him as a Brentford player.

His form has been pretty dreadful for the Hammers this season and he has little chance of making an impression with the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Lucas Paqueta, Kalvin Phillips and Mo Kudus available to us for the remainder of the season.
The final nail in Benrahma’s coffin – if one was needed – came when he got himself suspended for three games at a crucial stage of the season when kicking out after being fouled in the Fourth Round FA Cup replay at Bristol City.
He has been linked with Lyon for several days although his former club Brentford are claimed to be keen on taking him back.
However, Lyon’s bid – although not yet accepted – almost certainly would be, as the Hammers move to get the player out and fresh arrivals in.
Sadly, respected Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg is reporting that the player doesn’t want to leave the Hammers declaring: ““Said Benrahma currently reluctant to leave West Ham and go to Lyon, who have bid £15m for the winger.
“West Ham’s move for Jota a work in progress. Winger very open to 18 month loan despite tax issues around leaving Saudi.”
