West Ham have received no offers or interest for Said Benrahma or any other player beyond Thilo Kehrer as the winter market heads towards the end of its first week.
The deal which will see the German join Monaco on loan is currently going through but report of interest in the player are false.
Benrahma – snubbed by Algeria for Afcon, and out of form for most of the season, was being linked with two or three French and Spanish sides and one report had claimed that he was demanding a move from West Ham.
All those rumours are exactly that and at this stage the guy remains a Hammer although the club has confirmed they are ready to let him go when the right bid comes in.
Benrahma has been badly out of form and should an offer be made it is very unlikely to be of much more than £15 million which would be half of what we paid for when bringing him into the club from Brentford.
A club source sad: “The Benrahma rumours are precisely that but we will consider any if and when they come in from clubs.”
“received no offers or interest for Benrahma” – why am I not suprised.
