Betting suspended on Destro to West Ham

destroBookmakers Sky Bet have suspended betting on Mattia Destro joining West Ham.

The 24 year is reported to have turned down Monaco last week and his agent is said to be in London today for talks. Reports claim the Roma striker would like to play in the Premier League and has set his heart on London.

Destro is highly likely to leave the Italian giants after falling out of favor and spending the second half of last season at AC Milan. He has previously been linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Crystal Palace had also been linked with the of the 5ft 11in centre-forward but West Ham seem to be in prime position to complete the deal in the near future.

    Saw on The Iron Circle they were on about Gervinho too.Pls dont let that rumour be true.Dont want that Gooner reject!!

      I don’t know, he found some decent form when he was at Roma…may be worth a shout if the price is right.

    I would prefer Gervinho he has a bad deal with Wenger and he fits the Premier and we need a big forward to cover Sakho and Carroll which is not the strong point Destro has,
    We will get a Forward but I think it will be a loaner,
