|

Bielsa (1)According to French newspaper La Provence, Marseille and Marcelo Bielsa have now reached an agreement over a contract extension until 2017 claiming the Argentinian’s new deal should be signed and made official within the next 24 hours.

Bielsa  is due to attend the Champions League final on Saturday, before returning home to Argentina for his summer holidays.

The report claims Bielsa has made concessions such as a smaller back room staff  but has received a considerable wage rise as well as greater say when it comes to the recruitment policy.

Bielsa is said to have already submitted a list of targets that includes Ligue 1 players but also some individuals from South America.
