Big boost on the way for Irons

diafra-sakho-542296Diafra Sakho could be back to boost the Hammers on April 5 for the game at Arsenal.

The striker has played just one and a half games this season before finally receiving surgery on his back injury and is now declared 100 per cent okay physically.

And in reporting on his position Head of of medical and sports science Stijn Vandenbroucke has revealed that the Senegal forward will start training with the PL2 squad  this week.

He will be with the youngsters for two weeks before returning to training with the first team which will put him in line for a place in the squad against Arsenal.

ClaretandHugh was told: “He is now fully fit physically but it’s now a case of getting himself  up to match fitness.

He has been sorely missed but the surgery has been described as a complete success and we expect to have him available for seven or eight games of the season. Everybody know what a good player he is and it will give the squad a major boost

  1. We definetly missed his pace, just wondering if they will bring back Valencia who scored one & made one goal for Everton yesterday perhaps Everton training is better than ours perhaps Slav should ask them the secret

  2. good that he is coming back, but will still need time to get fit and up to speed. 2 games in 1 year is not easy to come back from.

  3. One for next season imo. Maybe last 3/4 games if we are lucky. Personally I think we will sell him, I think there is an uneasy truce there, a “get yourself fit and we will sell you” sort of unwritten gentlemans agreement.

  4. We need some BOOST, still shattered from yesterday and the disappointment, the last few weeks One Player has been blamed all the time, well yesterday where do we start, Cresswell again? Randolph? Snodgrass? he put so much pressure on Byram, perhaps he was not fully fit, Ayew? for me he seems unsure what position he is playing, then the defence? and last but not least Carroll, when will the club accept he is far too slow, he is far too one dimensional, can we afford to keep paying him what we do, but the major problem other than China who will take him.

  5. Don’t know why Sullivan is saying sorry ; don’t remember him playing .
We all know and deadly appreciate the work and dedication the Davids have put into West Ham . The Stadium move and signings ( which didn’t work out ) and the dreams they ignited. But truth is , unfortunately there has been a massive hiccup . We can or should consider ourselves lucky to still be in the Premiership come next season .
Mr Sullivan & Mr Gold ; you need to change the Manager now . Yes I know it sounds brutal but , reality is reality . I am a Fan & Supporter who wants, no , needs to see us doing well . If what I want is too hard to deal with then , there’s not a lot left to say . Everybody is taking the **** out of us . I don’t like it and I’m damn sure you don’t .

  6. It would be a big boost , yes , but we have had a plethora of boosts this season and have failed to deliver on every occasion . Not only our own team boosts but also news of other teams injuries , non of which we have taken advantage of .. All big talk as far as I’m concerned . Plus too much talk of future signings , blah , blah blah .
The Prem is enjoying too much our demise . And laughing Thier socks off .

  7. Most other clubs fans dont give a **** about us Kelvin.I think you believe we are more important to others than we are.
Most mates i have who support other teams couldnt give a weasels fart either way what happens to us.

    • I think that you are replying to Kevins ‘Everybody is taking the **** out of us’…. I took that to mean on the pitch rather than fans of other clubs

  8. Our Demise
Oh you do make this old bugger smile Kevin.
When we have dropped from the top flight through the Leagues in quick order as Blackpool and Portsmouth have i will call it a demise. When we have dropped in to League Two as Leeds and Man.City did a long with Forest, Wednesday,Wolves and a few others i will call it a demise.
For now sitting mid table in the Premier League most certainly doesnt constitute a demise.Actually im sure Sunderland fans would be delighted to be suffering your so called demise.
If oppositon fans are laughing their socks off at anything it will be if they spend 10 minutes to read West Ham fan sites lol.

You always make me feel most disconcerted Kevin because i often worry you are sat in a bath full of water with an electric two bar heater balanced precariously on the edge of the bath ready for you to nudge it in.

    • I care about my club , ” Stan the man ” .
And when the time comes to complain you can be sure I will , as is my right .
We have been hearing for as long as I can remember about how great we are, could be or should have been ,,,, or have you been asleep for the last 50 yrs ?? .

      • Kevin you are one of the biggest grouches and lets search for the negatives i have ever read and i dont need to have been asleep in the last few months to know that lol

        • “And when the time comes to complain you can be sure I will , as is my right .”

Oh and how you do Kevin.Almost to the point of orgasm i would suggest lol

  9. I was at the game yesterday. And i think enough about that has been said lol. BUT I have been trying to find out if Antonios goal WAS offside?? From where I sat It looked perfectly good.. Nothing shown or said on match of the day ! nothing in any blog or news papaer??
Its as if it never happened?? Any views or thoughts as we would have been right back in it at that point… COYI
