As everybody has said to the point of it becoming a cliche, if England can’t win this time around they probably never will.
It’s a very big day for Hammers fans on the international front with Declan, Thomas and Slavi on display in the two Euros quarter finals.
On the face of it, the Ukraine looks a given and although there aren’t many of those in football we would expect Dec to continue his journey towards the semi finals and hopefully a winning final.
If we are to win the Euros Declan may have to beat his two team mates in the Czech Republic side. This afternoon they take on Denmark – who many fancy to win the competition outright!
However, most of us will probably be hoping that that the semi final pitches us against the Czechs in a game that would be mega for Irons supporters.
For what it’s worth I reckon that’s the way it may well work out!
Ironically, it could be another Iron, Andriy Yarmolenko – who has had a fine tournament so far – who stops it happening.
