Big day for new Hammer Ward-Prowse

|

James Ward-Prowse starts training with the Hammers at Rush Green tomorrow after passing his medical with the club.

Claret and Hugh understands that the fine details of the contract are now being agreed and i’s dotted and t’s crossed but that the former Southampton skipper has become very much a West Ham player.

Our main source explained: ” We are pleased to say that he s now to all intents and purposes a Hammer and we would hop to be making an announcement very soon. He will train on Monday.”

He added that other signings were expected in the form of a central defender and maybe a striker and although no names were mentioned it seems certain that Harry Maguire is now very much on course to join the club.

And although David Moyes refused to elaborate on his plans up front we were told that a signing was a possibility with various names on the club’s shortlist
