West Ham’s big ticket players are the ones most likely to be sold this summer: much will depend on Lucas Paquetá’s FA verdict being delivered whilst the window is still open for the Brazilian to move but Mohammed Kudus, with interest reported form three London clubs plus Newcastle and Manchester United – would seem the soonest likely to depart.
The Hammers need the cash from Kudus’ sale to fund player acquisitions – that is no secret and has been driving the club’s position this summer. In the clearest sign yet that Kudus is on his way out of London Stadium, the Ghanaian has signalled a gear-shift by ditching his brother as his agent and appointing a top European agency in his stead.
His new agent which list Virgil van Dijk, Kai Havertz, Ademola Lookman, and Serge Gnabry amongst their footballing clients, will now represent Mohammed Kudus after his second switch in three years. Kudus was represented by Jennifer Mendelewitsch during his switch from Ajax to West Ham and then somewhat unceremoniously sacked her and appointed his brother.
In a clear signal that he’s not happy with the representation – he’s now represented by ROOF (‘Representatives of Outstanding Footballers’) who will presumably be tasked to bring his exit from West Ham to a swift conclusion and handle his negotiations for terms with whichever club gets closest to his £85 million break clause, active on 1st July.
Lucas Paquetá denies all of the allegations made against him
I fancy he will move when we get a decent offer fot him !
