Big Sam praises West Ham transfer business

|

Former Hammers manager Sam Allardyce was a guest on Sky Sports News transfer deadline coverage in the final hour of the window just as the Carlos Sanchez deal was announced as West Ham tenth and final signing.

Big Sam told Sky Sports viewers “The Daves have done massive, they will be having headaches all over the place, he will be really worried, they have really gone to town. All I can say Dave if you’re watching, I wish you’d done it for me”

Later on Sky Sports News he picked the Hammers as having the best transfer window in the Summer saying: “I’ll pick West Ham, They have done everything they possible could to get themselves way up into the European slots again”

All I can say Sam if you’re reading, I’m really glad they didn’t do it for you.

To paraphrase the board (on Avram Grant)

BFS – seems like a good bloke – can organise a defence, the players seem to like him, has a good sense of humour (I remember him saying about Mo Diame – well if he wants a top four club he better start improving)

Just a pity about his football
