Bilic and Diangana go top and Cullen plays his part

Grady Diangana was the only change to a West Brom side which went top of the Championship yesterday with a 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers.

Former Hammers boss Slaven Bilic now sits at the top of the pile but the result was bad news for another Hammers loanee Jordan Hugill who was part of the south west Londoners team which slipped to ninth place.

Diangana has become a huge fans favourite at the Baggies and was a constant livewire in the early exchanges as Slaven’s outfit took their points tally to 19 and goals tally to 17.

They sit ahead of Swansea City by just a point with Grady’s influence having been felt since the start of the season in a big way.

Meanwhile Josh Cullen played a crucial part in the Charlton victory which lifted the South east Londoers back into sixth place, just within the play off zone.

He produced a brilliant whipped corner which led the only goal of the match to reinforce his calls for a Hammers return at the end of the season should his brilliant early season form continue.
