Slaven Bilic has asked West Ham fans to get behind team and the club on Wednesday night as we play London rivals Spurs but reminded fans we are are all ambassadors of a big, great and polite club!
Slav told the press conference this morning: βThe message is I would like the fans to be behind us, to be behind the team, behind the club in a positive way. With respect to them, of course, fans are ambassadors of our club and they can show the world that we are big, great and a polite club.β
A 35-year West Ham supporter was stabbed in the abdomen outside White Hart Lane ahead of the London derby against Spurs last November. The game will be under heightened security as the two sides meet again. Co-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan have released a statement to remind supporters of their responsibilities and warn against bad behaviour.
Be good boys all of you,
Can someone tell the spuds the same and only bring rubber knives with them,
