Bilic bigs up Antonio to Southgate

michail_antonio_goalSlaven Bilic is convinced that Michail Antonio’s formshould see him back in the squad.

The versatile Hammer of the Year favourite returns to the squad at Bournemouth today and Bilic has made a timely call for his inclusion in the international squad.

Gareth Southgate is soon to name his men for  this month’s games against Germany and Lithuania and Antonio has to be in the frame.

Bilic said: “I’m his club manager and I’m not objective but I don’t see many strikers or wingers playing better than him.

“Dele Alli got his chance and grabbed it in the first game against France, the friendly game [last November]. He scored. Same with Jamie Vardy.

“If Mikey continues like this, or improves, it’s going to come to him.”
