Bilic claims Sakho’s failed move “not black and white”

slaven-bilic-diafra-sakho-west-ham_3343834Slaven Bilic has spoken out on Diafra Sakho’s ill fated attempts to join Rennes and admitted he doesn’t know the full story behind things.

The manager has not been shy of making it clear that the player wanted to go to the French club and isn’t sure whether he had permission to do so or not.

The club blocked the move after it was claimed he had undergone a medical but the manager claims he is not sure of the situation when the player flew to France with his agent Mark McKay.

He is reported in The Mirror as saying: “Diafra wanted to go. Also, that issue is not quite black and white. Did he have permission, permission on paper or just a form or an SMS? I don’t know.

“The fact is he wanted to go there. Hopefully he is going to stay like for a long time because he will know that until January he is a West Ham player. That’s the way he’s going to get a new contract or play again for Senegal or get a move, if he plays well.”
