Bilic confrms Sakho move is off

Slaven Bilic has spoken on Diafra Sakho’s collapsed move to West Brom.

Spaking after tonight’s game he revealed the £16 million switch was no longer going to happen and said he felt sorry for the striker.

The manager declared: “I am a bit sorry for him. And a bit surprised he didn’t pass the medical.”

However, Albion are insisting he did not fail a medical but there were fears he would not be fit for the start of the season which is an odd reason to call of the move!

  1. I wonder if they think he’s a liability?

  2. Does it mean Sahko will play for us? If he does will it be a professional 100% effort ?Will Bilic keep him on the bench for a while which will inevitably add to his attitude problem? Is the situation reconcilable particularly with Calleri allegedly on his way?Interesting dilemma.

  3. Sakho only has himself to blame if he had completed pre-season with us he would have been fit. I doubt this will do much to improve his mood.

  4. Someone get Moyes on the phone quick 😉

  5. Slav should let him train with the youngsters until he is match fit. He has a bit of catching up to do. Maybe nearer deadline day someone will be desperate enough to give us a bit more than WBA offered. He has made himself look a right tw*t.

  6. The more I think about Sakho, the more of an arrogant prat I think he is. Stomping out because he had not been selected against Arsenal (when Carroll scored a hatrick!), and refusing to go on tour pre-season…??
All those paper thin excuses illness excuses were clearly just toys out of the pram stuff. Poisonous brat.
Bung him in the youth team, or make him train on his own….or banish him entirely…
If he wanted more money, he went about it the wrong way….
    F*ck him.

  7. We will lose £6 million because when we eventually get rid of him Sunderland will offer £10 million and we will snatch it because with in a week we will have Ayew and Bacca on our team sheet so he and Valencia must go and we still need Calleri to cover Sick note,
Only need the fall back on board and we are there,
That’s 4 unless Slav does not rate Oxford and Burke to cover
    Our slack right sided defence
I would like to see him keep Obiang and Poyet which means with He others onboard we don’t need anyone else,
    My view only,
Novedt could be the signing of the season which could be a headache for Noble as in my opinion he is better at tackling, heading and passing plus he has a turn of pace unlike Mark,
Kouyate is first name on team sheet with Payet for me,

  8. the way I see it now we got him by the bollex he needs to get his head down and do some work oh and stop his wages until he gets fit after all no one wants him lol get groveling boy

    • Nice 1, ironswatch…Bang on!
Or as people say “No-one is bigger than the club”. If was as specal as he thinks he is, how come top 4 or Everton or even Soton or Stoke not interested?

  9. co-incedence that WBA have been bought by new owners ?? I reckon Pulis is off and the incoming manager didn’t fancy Sakho !!!
