Slaven Bilic has dismissed speculation linking West Ham with a bid for Fenerbaçhe striker Burak Yilmaz. “He is a good player you know,” Bilic told reporters in a post-match press conference after the 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
“At the moment it is only rumours. He is a very important player for Galatasary and we are well covered in those positions.
“We are still expecting all our strikers to come back from injury in a couple of weeks time. Players like Yilmaz are always linked with clubs, not just West Ham.”
Rumours gathered pace yesterday after a fake photoshopped picture of him holding a West Ham shirt went viral on social media.
But regular readers of ClaretandHugh will have known that neither he, or the much touted Loic Remy, will be arriving in the present transfer window following our story last week.

I wouldn’t say no to Yilmaz.At least he is sound physically and consistent.The Mirror keeps mentioning him in their daily transfer updates.
Yeah the report also says that Yilmaz said he expected the transfer to go through in 2 – 3 days, I expect if we sign him and or Emenike that Jelly will be allowed to leave for China.
