Bilic fires “be afraid” warning to Premier League

Manuel+Lanzini+West+Ham+United+v+SV+Werder+0Pg6_ic94sIlSlaven Bilic has warned the Premier League to start feeling afraid of the  Hammers!

With the exception of James Collins and Pedro Obiang he has everybody available for the match against Swansea including key man Manu Lanzini.

And he said: “With Manuel back we have all our attacking options and that wasn’t the case a few weeks ago. We have the players that we wanted in our team.

“Other teams should now be afraid of us and worrying about how to stop us – they should be thinking how they are going to cope with our awesome front players.”

However, an element of caution must remain and Bilic added: “I told the players who play there – don’t leave a hole and make us into two teams, you have to do a job at the back as well.”

Bilic admitted that an international break was a nightmare for a vulnerable manager.

He said: “Sometimes you go into these games before an international break cautiously, thinking ‘don’t lose this’.

“Nobody likes to lose at any time but especially not when you have two weeks to think about it with no game in a couple of days to make it up.

  1. What will he say if we don’t win. I so very much wish that people associated with the club did not make these stupid statements. They only come back to bite you !

    • I think it’s just the pressure he is under, so it’s a improve and win and I stay or lose and my time is up. He has just been backed up into a corner and has to say something.

  2. Oh dear. After that first half performance against Swansea He is the only one who needs to be aware.Huge improvement needed or this really could be the last straw.

  3. Swansea contained us easily for most of the match today .

  4. Teams should be afraid of us, when he leaves they may again.
