Bilic gives Sakho return date

Slaven Bilic has expanded his thoughts on Diafra Sakho’s comeback via the official site.

Earlier we reported that Slaven had declared the striker was on his way back and that he was expecting a lot from him on his return.

But in his Manager on Matchday column he said: “This week he has been doing more and more. It looks very good, touch wood and the plan next week is to let him train with the U23s.

It is different when you are just working with the physios and can control your moves. This is now going to be the next big step and if everything is okay after that he will be ready to join us after the game against Everton.”

That mans there could be some fireworks on November 5 when if all goes well the player could be set for an involvement against Stoke City.”
The manager added: “I have spoke with him a few times and he is ready.”
