Bilic has never been told “job is on the line”

Pic by ArfaSlaven Bilic West Ham New Manager and David Gold 12-06-2015Slaven Bilic has revealed there was no “on the carpet” meeting with David Sullivan following the Newcastle defeat and that he has never been told his job is under threat.

The mainstream media had declared that he had been summoned to a special meeting with the co chairman although ClaretandHugh claimed through its own sources that it never happened but had merely spoken on the normal daily basis.

And at this afternoon’s (Fri) presser the boss said: “I didn’t talk to the chairman at a special meeting. We talk after every game. He knows and I know we haven’t started well. It (Newcastle) was bad and unacceptable – a very low point.

“I have to raise the performance and get us back on the right track. I’ve never been told my job is on the line. I’ve told you this so many times. I don’t think about my job that way. Mine is a good job – talking to the lads and being with the lads.”

And he added that he had put the William Carvalho saga behind him adding: “We showed last year in difficult situations that we have the courage and character to get of of this. We did it then and can do it now.”

  1. He should have been told as his tactics in the first 3 games were a shambles. His team selection and thereafter the performance in my opinion is going to determine how long more he will be in charge. If we lose to Huddersfield he will need to be removed from his position. Mancini is not the manager for us.

  2. Perhaps they sent him an email telling him, and it was mysteriously lost on the way?

  3. Took them long enough to come out with the facts about the non /meeting ?
2 weeks ? 😉 roll on Monday ffs let’s see some football and get away from this crap , did he , didn’t he , will he , dildos , badges , weren’t enough , overvalued and all the rest of the guessing game ! its doing me head in now , can’t get away from it ffs !
    Rubadub calling 😠

  4. All I can say is, if the Chairman didn’t say his job was on the line, why didn’t he? The man couldn’t pick a winning side if he was given the Champions.

  5. Would he need telling? It’s blatantly obvious that he’s been on thin ice for months – the terrible start just makes the inevitable more likely to come sooner rather than later!

  6. Shame the players ain’t been told the same thing 😤 Slav’s tactics might be ****e but he didn’t roll over on the pitch or didn’t give a toss like some did at Newcastle 😡😡 How about they have the same conversation with there poster boy Captain Slow who bleeds claret and blue and does **** all week in week out?
