Slaven Bilic has revealed that he has a perfect relationship with the club’s owners as we move towards life at the Olympic Stadium.
But he insists there is no way the unique Boleyn atmosphere can be replicated at the club’s new home saying: “I am going to miss Upton Park as the atmosphere is so special and unique.
Taking to Sky Sports he said: “It would be good to think it could be replicated at the new stadium but there’s no chance of that. It can’t happen. It’s going to be different.”
He added: “We are very happy (the owners and himself) and for things to run well that has to be the case. It’s been perfect since I arrived here.”
Asked if there was pressure with the club moving towards 50,000 plus attendances Bilic declared: “It’s good pressure. It’s when you are only selling two and a half thousand there’s real pressure because you are doing something wrong – at the moment everybody here is doing things right.”
He is totally focused on tomorrow’s (Tues) game saying: “We have to win this game and the one against Stoke to achieve our European objective.
“It’s in our hands but it’s also going to be a hugely emotional night and we need to say goodbye with a win so there are big big reasons for wanting this game and the next one.”
