Bilic set to ring the changes

diafra-sakho-west-ham-crystal-palace_3447376The Hammers will ring the changes tonight as the team take on Bolton Wanderers in the League Cup clash at the London Stadium.

Slaven Bilic  has reveled that Andy Carroll will miss the game as he can’t take three in a week and that his training regime has been changed to accommodate that.

There’s a likelihood to that Javier Hernandez will be given a break which leaves the way clear for Diafra Sakho (right) to start as the team looks to advance over the bottom of the table Championship outfit and continue a much needed Cup run.

Marko Arnautovic will presumably be given a start following his three game break and Mark Noble may return either as a starter or on the bench.

The Hammers could  line up like this: Adrian; Byram, Reid, Ogbonna, Masuaku; Rice; Arnautovic, Kouyate, Obiang, Ayew, Sakho

  1. No creative player in the middle of the park, a big mistake by Bilic not signing someone to cover for Lanzini.

    • And who do you sign who has the quality to dictate a game or create who is then willing to sit on the bench as soon as Lanzini comes back??

Its easy to say its a big mistake but you wont get the quality needed who then wants to be a bit part player.
Its always so easy to criticize but not so easy to be in the chair so to speak.

  2. Holland, Rice, Quina and Hacksabamovich are all in the squad and Slav said some of them may start

  3. Bilic – “Declan Rice is always with us, Domingos Quina, Sead Hakasabaovic and Nathan Holland, all of them will be in the squad. Some of them, maybe will also play.”

    • But he also said, ” but they are going to be the players who have already played for us in the Premier League this season and also last season.”

All of which leaves me dazed and confused.

  4. Bilic is confusing agree w Alan wish we would have gone for a creative cm am like Ziyech or Pastore is set to be cut from PSG! Love him we were at RB Salzburg Getafe game hopefully scouting Berisha
But like to see Sead play to she if maybe he can add some creative spark to the team as well as Holland.

And Reece Oxford named in Golden boy 25 player shortlist so congrats to him!
Others see his potential I’m actually surprised he made it with lack of game time so hopefully Gladbach will use him today for first time too!
