Bilic’s window talk

|

BilicSlaven Bilic could hardly be more delighted to have drafted former Real Madrid right back Alvaro Arbeloa into the squad on deadline day.

Speaking to the official website he said: “His CV is top of course. He was at Liverpool so he knows the Premier League. He had 10 years at Real Madrid and won everything. We were looking to strengthen that position, at least short-term and he was available and simply the perfect option – what we needed.“We watched a lot of Real Madrid games like everybody else and he’s a great professional, a player of great experience and I’m sure he’s going to help us a lot. Make no mistake, he’s coming here as a player, not as a mentor, not as a coach. “

He is still thrilled the club captured Simone Zaza on a loan with clause to buy and said: “He’s still young, hungry, great left foot, goalscorer, bit of that drive and positive wildness on the pitch that is very important for the team, the crowd.”

The Hammers manager explains why he made the decision to allow Enner Valencia to join Everton and says it could favour the player and the Club in the long-term.

The real positive thing to come out of the Transfer Window is the shipping out of Enner Valencia – he was definitely stinking out the joint and it’ll be a lot better place without him around.

We’ve been unlucky with Ayew’s injury, Masusku’s started well and Feghouli looked pretty good – as for the rest of the new boys the juries out!

    “positive wildness on the pitch”

    I like that 🙂

Unfortunately Slav doesn’t run the club and most of the signings have been dismissed by Daphne and the parishioners already and as we all know without the backing of this select committee Slav’s decisions will not be rubber stamped as good until the next meeting on September the 17th. 😉
